Feature Writing
Students will submit the Week One analysis of their project notes. Daily notes for the projects will be checked on Wednesday 4/22 and Friday 4/24.
English 11
Students will finish reading Act V of Hamlet on Monday 4/20 and will review on Tuesday 4/21. A final quiz for the play will be given on Wednesday 4/22. Immediately after the quiz, students will work individually to plan for the Lyrics in Literature project. Students will have time in class on Thursday and Friday and the project will be due on Monday 4/27.
Practical English 12
Students will review vocabulary words for list 5 on Monday and the corresponding worksheet will be due on Thursday 4/23. Students must submit at least four completed research abstracts on Monday 4/20. Outlines for the paper will be due on Friday 4/24.
Honors English 10
Students will review Chapter 16 on Monday 4/20. Chapters 17-19 on Wednesday and Thursday. Chapters 20 and 21 on Friday. Pop quizzes will be given twice during the week. Directions for the Abstract Adjective character project will be given on Friday and projects will be due on Friday 5/8.
Journalism
Students will conduct interviews with at least two sources in preparation for the Oral History project. Detailed proposals for the project will be due on Monday 4/20. Notes from the interview will be checked on Friday 4/24.
