Week of April 11 to April 15

Honors English 10
Students will submit the TKAM Abstract Adjective project on Monday 4/11. Readings for Julius Caesar are as follows: Monday - III.i, Tuesday - III.ii, and III.iii. Review of Acts I-III will be covered on Wednesday with a test to follow on Thursday 4/14. Friday will be reserved for finishing work on the TKAM Board Game Project which will be due on Monday 4/18.

Honors English 12
Students will complete an in-class reading of Christopher Marlow's Doctor Faustus. Students will also participate in class discussions relating the events of the play to Washington Irving's The Devil and Tom Walker. Students will complete an essay test on Thursday 4/14. Completed research papers must be submitted by Friday 4/15.

Feature Writing
Students will submit the Oral History paper on Monday 4/11. Students will spend the week writing an editorial of their choice and must also work on one of two video editing projects for the district. Editorials will be due on Friday 4/15.

Week of April 4 to April 8

Honors English 10
Students will read Act I of Julius Caesar and will be responsible for taking notes as a synopsis for each scene. Students should also outline the characters of Caesar, Brutus, and Cassius. Abstract Adjective Character Projects for To Kill a Mockingbird will be due on Friday April 8.

Honors English 12
Students will continue working on the APA research paper. Students will have access to the computer lab until Friday April 8. Completed papers must be submitted by Friday April 15. Next week students will begin an in-class reading of Doctor Faustus.

Feature Writing
Students will transcribe the interviews of the Oral History project into a thematic story that will be due on Friday April 8. Students will also begin submitting proposals for the immersion writing assignment that will be completed over the next three weeks.

Journalism
Students will plan segments of In the News for the month of April. All work will be completed in class.
