Week of March 17 to March 31

There have been a significant amount of changes to the schedule throughout the third marking period that have been discussed frequently in class. Now that we are back on track, here are the final assignments for the third marking period.

Feature Writing
All components of the Investigative Journalism Project are due on Monday March 31. This includes the 2,500 word feature article, the 10-slide PowerPoint, all accompanying notes and resources.

Advanced Writing
The first draft of Ordeal by Cheque will be due on Friday March 21. After class discussions and peer reviews edited and revised copies will be due on Monday March 31.

Practical English 12
The final quiz for Lord of the Flies will be given on Thursday March 20. The quiz for vocabulary list 4 will be given on Friday March 21. Homework for List 5 will be due Thursday March 27.

English 10
Outlines for the research paper will be due Monday March 24 and the first draft will be submitted on Monday March 31. The conclusion of To Kill a Mockingbird will follow immediately after the first draft is submitted. The final draft of the paper and all TKAM assessments will factor into the 4th marking period.

Honors English 10
The final test for To Kill a Mockingbird will be given on Thursday March 20. Eight completed abstracts for the research project will be due on Monday March 24. MLA formatted outlines will be due on Friday March 28. Adjective Art Character Depiction Projects must be submitted in class on Monday March 31.
