Week of November 11 to November 15

Journalism
 Students will have a quiz on identification of copyediting symbols and will have assignments involving the incorporation of the symbols into drafted articles.

Advanced Writing
Students are continuing work on the novel. Specific graded assignments will include characterization, scene, imagery, voice, and tone.

English 10
Students will work on the Fahrenheit 451 Film Casting project. The project will be due Friday November 15. Vocabulary homework will be due Monday November 11 with a quiz to follow on Friday November 15.

Honors English 10
Students will complete the final essay test on Fahrenheit 451 on Monday November 11. The Lyrics in Literature papers will be due Friday November 15 and the Propaganda Video Projects will be submitted on Tuesday November 19. A vocabulary quiz on lesson 4 will be given on Friday November 15.

November 4 to November 8

Journalism
Students will work on copy editing and will take a quiz on appropriate identification of editing symbols. Students will also apply these symbols to articles.

Advanced Writing
Students will continue writing the novel submission. Assignments will be held on specific parameters of the writing such as scenes of characterization, imagery, conflict development, and also word count.

English 10
Students will take a test of Part II of Fahrenheit 451 on Monday November 4 and will continue reading Part III throughout the week. Vocabulary homework will be due on Thursday November 7.

Honors English 10
Students will continue to work on projects throughout the week. Vocabulary homework will be due on Thursday November 7. Lyrics for the Lyrics in Literature paper must be approved by Friday November 8th; product and service ideas must also be submitted for the Propaganda project on this date. Due dates for upcoming assessments include: Fahrenheit 451 Final Essay Test - Monday November 11, Lyrics in Literature Paper & Propaganda Video Project - Friday November 15.
