Week of May 17 to May 22

Feature Writing
Students will complete the project-based final exam during the allotted time on Tuesday 5/19.

English 11
Students will finish reading short stories on Monday 5/18 and will begin preparing for the final exam during the allotted time on Friday 5/22.

Practical English 12
Students will complete the in-class final exam during the allotted time on Wednesday 5/20.

Honors English 10
Students will review all acts of Julius Caesar on Monday 5/18 and will begin preparing for the final exam. 5th Period will complete the exam on Friday 5/22 and 6th Period will complete the exam on Wednesday 5/27.

Journalism
Students will complete the in-class final exam during the allotted time on Thursday 5/21.


*Students anticipating enrollment in an Honors course for the 2015-2016 school year must report to the appropriate teacher's room on Tuesday 5/26 at 10 a.m. for distribution of summer reading novels and corresponding materials. Students currently enrolled in Honors English 10 will report to Mrs. Anderson in Room 910.

Week of May 11 to May 15

Feature Writing
Students will submit final projects for Investigative Journalism on Tuesday 5/12 and will continue working on the video yearbook project for the remainder of the week.

English 11
Students will complete Poetry readings from Dickinson and Poe and will have corresponding homework assignments in class.

Practical English 12
Students will continue reading Our Town in class. Finals drafts of the research project must be submitted by Friday 5/15 for point adjustment.

Honors English 10
Students will read Acts II through V of Julius Caesar while taking notes and completing study guides. Practice tests will be given for comprehension, summative testing on the play will appear directly on the final exam.

Journalism
Students will submit final projects for the Oral History project on Monday 5/11 and will continue working on the video yearbook project for the remainder of the week.

Week of May 4 to May 8

Feature Writing
Students will finish their final week of experience for the immersion writing. Projects will be due promptly on Monday 5/11.

English 11
Students will begin reading American Poetry including Edgar Alan Poe and Emily Dickinson. Projects for Iambic Pentameter will be due Monday 5/4.

Practical English 12
Students will submit rough drafts of the research papers on Monday 5/8. All work this week will be completed in class.

Honors English 10
Students will review To Kill a Mockingbird in preparation for a test on Wednesday 5/6. Abstract Adjective Character projects will be due Monday 5/11. Students will also begin reading Julius Caesar and will be responsible for reading Act I by Friday 5/8.

Journalism 
Students will submit audio files for the Oral History interview by Monday 5/4 and will spend the week transcribing information for the article. The finished project will be due Friday 5/8.
