Week of April 13 to April 17

Feature Writing
Students will be working full time on their Investigative Journalism projects. Students must keep daily entries in a physical journal or an online blog. Students must also complete their weekly analysis and a progress update for the project by Friday 4/17.

English 11
Students will finish reading Act IV of Hamlet on Monday. The corresponding study guide questions will be completed and submitted on Tuesday. A quiz on Act IV will also be given on Tuesday 4/14. Act V will be completed immediately following Tuesday's quiz.

Practical English 12
Students will finish a minimum of four research abstracts by Friday 4/17. Students should also begin selecting material from the abstract to develop an initial outline structure. A vocabulary quiz on Lesson 4 will also be given on Friday 4/17.

Honors English 10
Students will continue at-home readings of To Kill a Mockingbird and taking corresponding notes. A review of Chapters 1-11 will be covered on Tuesday 4/14 with an essay test to follow on Wednesday 4/15. A complete list of readings (for the remainder of the novel) with page numbers will be posted tomorrow.

Journalism
Students will begin the Oral History project and will focus on interview techniques during class. Students will be responsible for conducting three sample interviews (unrelated to the project) to be submitted in class on Thursday 4/16.
