Week of January 29 to February 2

Broadcast Journalism
Students will schedule interviews for Electives segment and will prep for Super Bowl recipes.

Honors English 10
Students will complete packets on Prepositional Phrases and Participles by Tuesday. A quiz on Participles will be given on Thursday.

Practical Lit/Eng 11
Students will read Act I of The Crucible and will complete the corresponding study guides. A quiz will be given on Tuesday Feb 6th.

Week of January 22 to January 26

Broadcast Journalism
Full year students will work on STC and electives clips. Half year students will work on Chapter 4 of the textbook, focusing on areas of newsworthiness. A quiz will be given on Friday 1/26.

Honors English 10
Students will quiz on Objects/Complements on Wednesday 1/24 and Participles on Friday 1/26.

Practical English 10
Students will begin on Puritanical history in America prior to beginning the reading of Arthur Miller's The Crucible.

Week of January 15 to January 19

Broadcast Journalism
Students will continue working on the 1/19 Newscast video and will prepare for next week's video on elective courses. Weekly current event assignments will begin in the 3rd marking period and the first will be due Friday 1/19.

Honors English 10
The Propaganda commercial project and the Lyrics in Literature paper will both be due Tuesday 1/16. Students will finish the Object/Complement packet for Tuesday to go over in class. Subsequent grammar assignments will include Phrases with an emphasis on Verbals.

Practical English 11
Students will begin with an introduction on Puritanical history in America prior to next week's reading of Arthur Miller's The Crucible.
