Career Explorations
Students in MP1 will finish interviews. New classes will begin on Wednesday 10/31. Students in MP2 will be required to complete the Google Docs for Week 1.
Honors English 10
Students will review Part I of Fahrenheit 451 and will complete a test on Thursday 11/1. Study guides and character maps will be collected on Tuesday 10/30 and redistributed on Wednesday. The first reading for Part II must be completed by Friday 11/2.
Practical English 10
Students will turn in all Fahrenheit 451 study guides on Tuesday 10/30. A test on Part III will be given on Wednesday 10/31 and Propaganda Projects will be due on 11/2.

Career Exploration
Students will submit finished resumes on Tuesday 10/23. All assignments for interviews are due Friday 10/26.
Honors English 10
Students are responsible for reading Part I of Fahrenheit 451 and taking accompanying notes. Completed study guides and character charts are due Monday 10/29. A test on Part I will be given on Tuesday 10/30.
Practical English 10
Students will review Part II of Fahrenheit 451 on Tuesday for a test on Wednesday 10/24. Study guides for Part II must be submitted this week. Students will also work on a Propaganda Project before beginning to read Part III.

Career Exploration
All Career Cluster documents must be submitted on Monday morning. First drafts of resumes are due Friday 10/19.
Honors English 10
Students must submit stanza by stanza analysis of The Raven on Monday. Students will review all 5 fictional pieces of the unit prior to the test. Test will be given on Wednesday 10/17. On Thursday, students will begin discussing dystopian literature.
Practical Literature 10
Students will finish Part I of Fahrenheit 451 on Monday and review the remainder of the study guide. Specific worksheets on Beatty's argument will also be covered. A test on Part I will be given on Tuesday 10/16. Following the test, students will continue reading into Part II and will discuss Propaganda Techniques.

Students must bring in an actual job application to review necessary information required to secure employment. Students must also fill out the sample application and submit by Friday 10/12.
All Career Cluster Google Docs must be submitted by Friday 10/12; assignments incomplete or submitted after this date will not receive credit.

Students must read The Lottery and answer the worksheet questions based on tone. After The Lottery, students will complete an in-class reading and discussion of The Raven and will begin preparing for the Unit Test.
Practical English 10
Students will complete an in-class reading of Fahrenheit 451. Following the reading of Part I, students should complete the study guide and character charts to be submitted for Friday 10/12.
