Week of April 30 to May 4

Broadcast Journalism
Students will work on segments for ITN 5.4.18. Students will also finalize commercials for the Spartan Games. Current Event due Friday May 4th.

Honors English 10
Students must submit study guides for Julius Caesar Acts I-III by Tuesday May 1st; a test on those acts will also be given that day. Students will be responsible for reading Acts IV and V by Monday May 7th.

Practical English 11
Students will finish reading Act III of Hamlet on Monday April 30th and will review for the quiz. The Act III quiz will be given Tuesday May 1st and a reading of Act IV will follow.

Week of April 23 to April 28

Broadcast Journalism
Students will film segments for ITN and prepare commercial advertisement for Spartan Games II.

Honors English 10
Students will complete reading Julius Caesar Acts I-III and will submit all study guides. Review for the Quiz will be 4/27 with the Quiz on Tuesday 5/1. Acts IV-V will be covered in the following week.

Practical English 11
Students will submit all completed resumes by Tuesday 5/24. Quiz for Act I of Hamlet  will be given Monday 4/23. Act II quiz on Friday 4/27.

Week of April 2 to April 6

Broadcast Journalism
Students will begin working on an Oral History project in which they conduct an extended interview with a subject and record and edit the process.

Honors English 10
Students will work on projects for To Kill a Mockingbird and will prepare for a test on the novel for Wednesday 4/4. Projects will be due Monday 4/16.

Practical English 11
Students will work on Propaganda Projects and must submit them by Friday 4/6. On Tuesday, students will prepare to read the novel Of Mice and Men. Subsequent readings with follow for the remainder of the week with brief quizzes after each of the six chapters. Study guides will also be completed.

Week of March 12 to March 16

Broadcast Journalism
Students will work on completing the lessons for Typography. Quiz on Friday 3/16.

Honors English 10
TKAM Chapter 12 on Monday, 13 on Tuesday, 14 and 15 for Thursday.

Practical English 11
Students will work on Gerunds and Infinitives. Test on Phrases on Friday 3/16.

Week of February 26 to March 2

Broadcast Journalism
Students will take the 2nd terminology quiz on Friday 3/2.

Honors English 10
Students should read TKAM chapters 3-5 for Monday 2/26, chapters 6-7 for Wednesday 2/28, and chapter 8 for Friday Friday 3/2.

Practical English 11
Students will take the Act III quiz for The Crucible on Monday 2/26 and will take the Act IV on Thursday 3/1.

Week of February 12 to February 16

Broadcast Journalism
Broadcast and Print Journalism terms will be split into 3 quizzes that will be given on Friday 2/16, Monday 2/19, and Tuesday 2/20.

Honors English 10
Students will review all phrases for the Quiz on Wednesday 2/14.

Practical English 11
Students will complete the Act I Crucible Quiz on Monday 2/12. Study guides for Act 2 must be completed by Friday 2/16.

Week of February 5 to February 9

Broadcast Journalism
Students will film the 2/9 episode of ITN and will begin working on broadcast and print journalism terminology. A quiz on the terminology will be given Friday 2/16. Current events will be postponed for the next 3 weeks.

Honors English 10
All worksheets for gerunds must be completed and submitted by Tues 2/6 at the end of class. Worksheets for Infinitives must be submitted by Friday 2/9. A test on all phrases will be Wednesday 2/14.

Practical English 10
A review of The Crucible Act I will be held on Tuesday. The test for Act I will be Thursday 2/8.
