All current events must be submitted by Monday April 3rd. Biographies for Journalists will be due Friday April 7th.
Honors English 10
Abstract Art Projects will be due Monday March 27th. The To Kill a Mockingbird Board Games will be due Monday April 3rd; novels will also be collected on this day. A synopsis of Julius Caesar Act I will be due Monday Monday April 3rd.
Feature Writing
A formal proposal for the Investigative Journalism project must be submitted by Friday March 31st. Blogs must be live and feature one post by Friday March 31st. For the remainder of the project, blogs must be entered a minimum of 4 times a week and must occur on separate days; blogs can be added at a higher frequency if desired.

Broadcast Journalism
Students will continue working on In the News and will prepare a small production team for coverage of the Schuylkill County Scholar Athlete Banquet on April 2nd.
Honors English 10
Students will review for the comprehensive test on To Kill a Mockingbird and will complete the assessment on the next full day of class. Due dates for projects will be adjusted following the impending storm that will disrupt the week.

Students will continue planning segments for March. Individual podcast assignments will be explained and assigned. Due dates for each will be March 24th.

Students will finish reading To Kill a Mockingbird this week. Chapters 25-27 will be due Monday 3/6 and Chapters 28-31 will be due Wednesday 3/8. February 13 to February 16
Broadcast Journalism
Students will discuss ethics in journalism and will view the film Shattered Glass. Following the film, students will write a brief reaction about the importance of truth in the media.
Honors English 10
Students will continue an in-class analysis of To Kill a Mockingbird Chapters 9-11. There will be a test on Tuesday 2/15. Dates for upcoming readings (Chapters 12-18) will be given in class on Monday.

Students will view the documentary Shenandoah and will draft a 1,000 word memoir reflecting on the pros and cons of growing up in Schuylkill County.

Students will complete CDTs on Monday and Tuesday during class but are still expected to keep up with the TKAM readings. Students are responsible for finishing Chapters 9, 10, and 11 by Wednesday 2/8. A test on Part I will be given on Monday 2/13. Vocabulary 6 Homework will be due on Friday 2/10.

Students will submit Top 10 articles on Monday 2/6 and will then reverse their topic for a second Top 10 that will be due on Monday 2/13.
