Students will submit Act III study guides on Tuesday 4.24 and will also complete the Act III quiz for Hamlet on that day. Study Guides will be distributed after the quiz; sections pertaining to scenes i-iv will be due Friday.
Honors English 10
Students will finish Acts I & II of Julius Caesar and will complete corresponding study guides and graphic organizers before Friday 4.27. Vocabulary 12 quiz will be given on Tuesday 4.24.

Week of April 16 to April 20
English 11
Students will review for Act II of Hamlet and will complete the quiz on Tuesday 4/17. Students will begin reading Act III and must complete the study guides by Tuesday 4/24.
Honors English 10
Students will submit the first set of resource cards on Monday 4/16 for review. The second set will be due on Friday 4/20; the third set will be due on Wednesday 4/25. Students will also begin reading Julius Caesar at this time and will have assignments for each of the five acts that will be specified at a later date.

Students will work on different styles of writing and will focus on organization of ideas in the prewriting stage which will then be followed by drafting and revision.

A quiz on participles/participial phrases will be given on Tuesday 3/6. Vocabulary will be checked on Wednesday 3/7; the quiz date will be announced next week due to PSSA scheduling. A gerund quiz will be given on Friday 3/9.

Students will be working on an MLA style sentence outline for the research project. The finished version will be due Monday 2/27. Vocabulary quizzes will be given Friday 2/24.
